Mrs. Folasade Olubowale is also a healthcare professional; born to the Late Chief G.O. Solaja and Mrs. Olayinka Solaja.
She attended and graduated from Methodist Girls High School in Lagos, Nigeria (Class of 1979), and she is also an attendee and graduate of Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy, Long Island University (Class of 1986).
Folarin and Folasade have been happily married for twenty-three years, with one daughter, Omolade, and two sons, Adeleye and Olayemi.
Folasade is a hospital based pharmacist in Columbus, Georgia and regularly assists her husband at his busy private medical practice. She is passionate in her advocacy for an improved healthcare system and upgraded infrastructure in Nigeria and West Africa, believing that a heavy focus on infectious disease will transform lives and communities.
