Dr. Kemi Odukoya is an Associate Professor at the Epidemiology and Biostatistics unit of the Department of Community Health and Primary Care, College of Medicine, University of Lagos and Honorary Consultant, Public Health Physician at the Lagos University Teaching hospital (LUTH), Lagos, Nigeria.
She is a Fellow of the National Post Graduate Medical College and holds an adjunct faculty position at the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, University of Utah School Of Medicine, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
An alumnus of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos with more than 20 years of experience as a public health physician, lecturer and researcher. Till date, she has successfully authored more than 100 academic publications published in local and international peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Kemi Odukoya has received several competitive research awards at home and abroad including the National Institutes for Health (NIH) Global Emerging Research Leader Award; the Fogarty-Harvard-Boston-Northwestern-New Mexico Global Health Research Award; International Society Of Behavioural Medicine Early Career Award for promising global early career investigators and the Deans Award Of Recognition In Grantsmanship.
In addition, she has served on several COVID-19 Think-tanks and research groups and provides COVID-19 Advisory to public/private organisationsand multilateral donors on request.
